50.7g Protein. 14.6g Fibre. 79.1mg Iron. Here Are the Numbers.

Transparency is not a brand value at AMAA. It is a practice.

We did not want to launch a product and ask you to trust us. We wanted to launch a product and hand you the evidence — every number, every test, every certificate — so you could decide for yourself.

What follows is every headline number on the AMAA label, translated into what it actually means for your body. No marketing language. Just the figures, the reference standards, and what the science says they do.

Source of the Numbers

Every figure below comes from independent laboratory analysis performed at a NAFDAC-licensed, ISO-accredited third-party testing facility in Lagos. Protein content was verified using the Kjeldahl nitrogen method — the international gold standard for protein determination in food, referenced in ISO 8968-1:2014. The full certificate of analysis is publicly available on our website.

We did not test our own product in our own lab and publish our own results. We sent it to an independent facility, paid them, and published what they returned.

Per 100g
50.7g
Protein

What it means

Roughly half of every 100g of AMAA powder, by weight, is protein. In a 50g serving — one scoop — you are getting 25.4g of protein. That is comparable to a large chicken breast, three eggs, or a full cup of Greek yoghurt.

Why it matters

Protein is the structural material of the body. Muscle tissue, skin, hair, nails, enzymes, hormones, antibodies — all built from protein. A sedentary adult needs roughly 0.8g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Active adults need more. Athletes need more still.

For a 70kg sedentary adult, one AMAA scoop covers about 45% of the daily protein requirement. For a 70kg active adult, it covers roughly 25–30%. That is meaningful contribution from a single scoop.

Per 100g
14.6g
Dietary Fibre

What it means

14.6g of dietary fibre per 100g, or 7.3g per 50g serving. That is more than most protein powders deliver by a significant margin — most whey-based products contain near zero fibre, because fibre is stripped out during the isolation process.

Why it matters

Fibre is the nutrient most adults do not get enough of. The daily recommended intake is around 25–30g for adults. Most people fall short. Fibre feeds the gut microbiome, supports healthy digestion, regulates blood sugar, and contributes to the feeling of fullness that helps with weight management.

One AMAA serving provides roughly a quarter of your daily fibre need — in a single scoop of what you thought was a protein powder. That is the whole-food advantage in numbers.

Per 100g · 220%+ DV
79.1mg
Iron

What it means

79.1mg of iron per 100g, naturally occurring from seeds. Per serving, that works out to 39.6mg — which exceeds the daily recommended value by more than 200%.

Why it matters

Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency globally, and Nigerian women are disproportionately affected. Iron is the component of haemoglobin that carries oxygen in the blood. Insufficient iron means insufficient oxygen delivery — which shows up as fatigue, reduced endurance, cognitive fog, and, in more severe cases, anaemia.

AMAA’s iron content is not added. It is naturally present in the seeds themselves — particularly pumpkin seed, flaxseed, and soybean. For women especially, this is one of the product’s most distinctive benefits. For athletes training in endurance disciplines, it is a meaningful ergogenic advantage.

One scoop of AMAA delivers over 220% of the daily recommended value of iron. The seeds made it that way. We did not add anything.

Per 100g
1,298mg
Potassium

What it means

Roughly 1.3 grams of potassium per 100g. Per serving, 649mg — about 18% of a typical daily intake target.

Why it matters

Potassium is the mineral that governs fluid balance, blood pressure regulation, muscle contraction, and nerve signalling. It works in opposition to sodium — as sodium intake rises, potassium requirements rise with it. Most modern diets are high in sodium and low in potassium, which contributes to hypertension.

For anyone training seriously, potassium is also critical for muscle function and cramping prevention. A single AMAA scoop contributes more potassium than a large banana.

Per 100g
272.9mg
Magnesium

What it means

272.9mg per 100g. Per serving, 136.5mg — about a third of the daily recommended value.

Why it matters

Magnesium is involved in more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. It supports muscle recovery, nerve function, protein synthesis, and sleep quality. Chronic magnesium insufficiency is surprisingly common and often undiagnosed. Symptoms include muscle cramps, restless sleep, low energy, and anxiety.

Pumpkin seed, one of AMAA’s six ingredients, is among the most magnesium-dense foods on earth. That is not an accident of formulation. It is why pumpkin seed is in the blend.

Per 100g
317.9mg
Calcium

What it means

317.9mg per 100g. Per serving, 159mg — about 16% of daily calcium needs.

Why it matters

Most consumers associate calcium with dairy. But almonds, chia, and other seeds deliver substantial calcium alongside everything else they contain. For anyone avoiding or limiting dairy, AMAA becomes a meaningful plant-based source of this essential mineral — which supports bone health, muscle contraction, and nerve signalling.

What We Did Not Find

Equally important are the things the lab did not find.

Zero trans fat. Zero cholesterol. Only 1.9g of naturally occurring sugar per 100g — a trace amount from the seeds themselves, with nothing added. No artificial sweeteners. No preservatives. No artificial colourings. No proprietary blends hiding anything.

What is on the label is everything that is in the product. What is not on the label is not in the product. That is the entire principle.

What the Numbers Add Up To

Eighteen nutrients in a single 50g serving. Meaningful contributions to daily protein, fibre, iron, potassium, magnesium, and calcium requirements from one scoop. All of it from six certified organic whole-food ingredients. None of it isolated, fortified, or synthetically added.

This is what we mean when we say complete nutrition. Not protein alone. Not a single macro. A full nutrient profile, delivered the way the seed delivered it.

The certificate is on our website. The numbers are what they are. You do not have to take our word for any of this.

Which is, honestly, the entire point.
